Event Navigation

BromleyHouseLibraryOn Saturday 21st May 2016 at Bromley House, 2pm – 3pm. Doors open at 1.45pm,

Ann Treneman, journalist and author, chief theatre critic of The Times, parliamentary sketch writer for the previous 12 years. In her own words ‘It’s a logical move – politics is, as they say, just show biz for ugly people’ She also writes interviews and feature articles for the newspaper and its Saturday magazine and has published 3 books.

Ann regularly appears at literary festivals talking about theatre/politics/death (and sometimes, because it just makes sense, theatrical political deaths). Her talk will certainly be entertaining particularly if there are any theatrical political deaths on the horizon.

Bromley House Members £5.00, visitors £6.00. Booking essential via 0115 9473134, enquiries@bromleyhouse. org or by calling into the library. Booking opens for library members on Saturday 20th February 2016 and for visitors on Saturday 5th March 2016.
