Bomber Command, Richard Hallam, Pentagon Local History Society – CANCELLED

On Wednesday 20th May 2020 at 7:30pm in Elston Village Hall, Richard Hallam will give a talk about Bomber Command as part of Elston’s VE Day celebrations. The presentation will conclude with a short address by Christine Ditcham, whose uncle was killed when on a bombing mission flown from Balderton Airfield, near Newark.

Admission to the talks are free; there will be a retiring collection in aid of the work of the International Bomber Command Centre

The Society normally meets every fourth Wednesday of the month in Elston Village hall at 7.30pm, the series commencing in September until April of the following year. This year, In June and July there are organised visits. There is no meeting in August.
