On Thursday 7th September 2017 between 10:00am and 4:00pm in the Gallery of Worksop Library members of Worksop Archaeological and Local History Society will be on hand to talk about their exhibition of local photographs and memorabilia.
The exhibition’s special focus will be on Worksop’s Railway Heritage, celebrating the ‘North Country Continental Boat Train’ which passed through Worksop Station every day from 1885 en route from Harwich to Liverpool until 1973.
It will also include information about the historical society, and old photographs of places of local interest in the town.
The exhibition will be free to view in the library’s gallery throughout September.
