On Wednesday 2nd September 2020 at  7:30pm in Collingham War Memorial Hall Pat Smedley will tell the story of the English social reformer and statistician, and the founder of modern nursing. Florence Nightingale came to prominence while serving as a manager and trainer of nurses during the Crimean War, in which she organised care for wounded soldiers.
