On Tuesday 20th March 2018 2.00pm – 3.00pm at Nottingham Central Library Floor 1 hear about the history of this old GNR station and other stations on what they called the ‘Back Line’.

Join the Friends of Gedling Station (FoGS) & Gedling Village Preservation Society (GVPS) for this talk about the history of Gedling Railway Station, its close connections with Gedling Colliery and the days when it provided day trips to the seaside! Find out about local suggestions for restoring Gedling Station to its former glory as a heritage centre and community hub.
