History Festival 2017, Unlocking the Archives – First World War

On Friday 7th April 2017 between 10.30 – 11.30 at Manuscripts and Special Collections, King’s Meadow Campus, The University Of Nottingham. This session offers you the opportunity to investigate the First World War by researching its impact on the students and staff of University College Nottingham as revealed by documents in the university’s own archives. You will be invited to view and critically assess primary source materials and to place them in context, giving you a taste of the historical method in action.

This session is led by Manuscripts and Special Collections and the Centre for Hidden Histories: Community, Commemoration and the First World War
