Come along to another Hyson Green Get-Together It’s FREE and you may meet old friends! It’s for anyone who fancies a cuppa, a chat and a reminisce about Hyson Green & the local area.

The ‘Get-Together’ will include a showing of ‘Present Location Uncertain’, the 20 minute film based on the recent Heritage Lottery-funded project held at the Vine & St Stephen’s Church. Focused on the WW1 letters of local soldier Harold Priestley back to his wife Eva on Hazelwood Road. Harold ‘fell’ on the Western Front in March 1918.

Plus some local history news and there will be exciting news about a new Heritage Lottery Fund grant bid that is in progress for 2019!

It will be hosted by archivist and local historian Christopher Weir, the Rev Clive Burrows of St Stephen’s Church and Rob Bird, the new Vine Centre Community Centre Manager.
