The 13th Great Nottingham Inclosure Walk organised by The Friends of the Forest with Nottingham City Council.
Meet at 1.30 pm at the river end of Queens Walk for this FREE guided walk that celebrates the 1845 Inclosure Act which gave 130 acres for recreation ground in perpetuity to the inhabitants of Nottingham.
We honour the Corporation of 170 years ago who had the foresight to lay it out to the highest standards, 5 parks and 3 miles of walks. Our walk takes us through all of this inner city green space finishing at the Inclosure Oak on The Forest. Short talks will be given at places of interest.
% miles of smooth surface is suitable for powered wheelchairs; there are two steep slopes. The tram or bus can take you back to the City centre.

- Station at approx 2:10
- St Mary’s at approx 2:30
- Victoria Park at approx 2:50
- Bottom of Robin Hood Chase at approx 3:15
- Bell Vue Reservoir at approx 3.45
- Top of Arboretum at approx 4:05
- Top of general cemetery at approx 4:40
A certificate will be given at the Inclosure Oak.
