Lowdham Book Festival’s “Last Saturday”

Saturday June 25th 2016

At 11.00am we have a talk on women’s suffrage in Nottingham, at 12.30pm on the Derbyshire Pentrich Uprising, at 2.00pm we have talks on the history of the University of Nottingham and Clipstone Palace and on local history in Arnold, Mapperley and local villages and at 3.30 an illustrated talk on Nottingham in old postcards.

All the events are free and there is a large book fair (and many other events throughout the day, including for children).

There is no need to book – just turn up, for an hour or for the whole day (we have a cafe on site).

The Lowdham Book Festival runs from Friday 17th – Saturday 25th June 2016 at Lowdham, Nottinghamshire.
