On Sunday 30th June 2019, starting at 1.30pm at the south (river end) of Queen’s Walk
This historic walk, organised by June Perry and Friends of The Forest, takes a fascinating 5 mile route through parks that include the Arboretum and The Forest, along green promenades; and it follows High Pavement, one of the most historic streets in Nottingham. This year it will be started by Eddie Curry, Director of the City’s parks and gardens.
The walk takes a leisurely pace and includes brief historical chats along the way. It is suitable for powered wheelchairs. It finishes at the Inclosure Oak at the Lodge end of Sherwood Forest. Refreshments should be available at the Homemade Café on the Forest at the end of the Walk.
Please join in supporting the Inclosure Walk and Nottingham’s green spaces.
