At 11.00am, Saturday 20 May 2017 at the Nottinghamshire Archives Dr Denise Amos, co-ordinator of the Nottinghamshire Heritage Gateway, will consider the life, work and achievements during his 40 years of public service of Philip Boobbyer.
This year marks the 160th anniversary of his birth on 1 June 1857. He was the longest serving Medical Officer for the City of Nottingham and only the third MO to serve the city after their introduction in 1875. .
