On Tuesday 20th August 2019 at in the Djanogly Theatre 1pm Dr Richard Gaunt, Associate Professor in the Department of History, considers the rough, boisterous sensibilities which caricaturists brought to their craft. The years 1780-1840 are sometimes regarded as the ‘golden age of caricature’.
