TravelRight Walks in North Nottinghamshire
This walk brings to life a close-knit community at the forefront of the Industrial Revolution in Nottingham: bleachers, millers, hosiers, brewing, non-conformists and a once busy parade of shops which grew from an old street pattern of sleepy village life.
Chris Matthews will lead this walk, making reference to his newly published historical walking and cycling guide to Basford and Bulwell, Smoke in the Valley.
