Dave McCall (writing as David Ebsworth) will talk on ‘The Assassin’s Mark’ a novel based on Franco’s Battlefield Tours.
Chris Richardson will tell how Reynolds News reported the Civil War and how the labour movement in Nottingham responded to the call for solidarity and support from the Spanish workers.
The talk will follow on from the Annual General Meeting of the Notts & Derbys Labour History Society which will commence at 1.00 pm. (Doors open at 12.30pm)
