On Monday Bank Holiday May 2nd 2016 between 11:00am and 4:00pm at St Anns Allotments Spring is in the air.
Come and celebrate new growth alongside the vegetables, embrace the energy of nature at our urban oasis, and discover our unique heritage gardens at St Anns Allotments Spring Open Day.
This free event will see our allotment gates open from 11am until 4pm. Visitors will be given a chance to explore the diverse growing community as some of our gardeners open up their plots for the day. There will also be a range of family friendly activities, including archaeology with our ‘Dig for History’ project; orienteering on our Community Orchard, and following the bugs and butterflies around our new Nature Trail in the wildlife areas.
Of course, there will also be refreshments available at our Spring Cafe, and our ever popular guided tours at regular intervals through the day, available for a small donation.
