Event Navigation

Presented by Julian Putowski.

Trent to Trenches are running 4 Reginald Dolley Memorial lectures in honour of R.C.F. Dolley University College Nottingham’s first Professor of History who was killed near Arras in 1917.  The next one is on Saturday October 18th. Julian Putkowski will talk about executed Sherwood Foresters. Not only is he the pre-eminent authority on this subject who devoted years of his life to obtaining pardons for those executed but he is also a brilliantly engaging speaker.

Admission is £4 but students, retirees and the unwaged will be admitted free of charge. It will hopefully be of interest to all those with an interest in the Great War. Putkowski poster
