On Sunday 19th May 2019, 10am – 4pm, at the Museum of Timekeeping, Upton Hall, Main Street, Upton, Newark, Notts, NG23 5TE celebrate 200 years since the birth of Queen Victoria with Victorian inspired Crafts, Clothes and Clockwork.
There will be prizes for the best Victorian outfit, so feel free to come in your best frock coat, or crinoline, or even a Victorian inspired Steampunk outfit; or just come and enjoy other people dressing up.
There will be stalls, a pop-up vintage cafe and garden games, as well as activities for all ages. We have also picked out the best Victorian clocks, watches and timepieces in our collection for display. As we are celebrating Victorian skills and craftsmanship, you will also be able to see displays of Victorian style hats, fabrics, clothing and craft.
Take a Victorian trip back in time to a world of wonder and an imagined future where invention and fantasy intertwine to give you ‘Victorian Times’.
