On Wednesday 18 October 2017 at 7:00pm within the Lace Gallery at Nottingham Industrial Museum. Roger Clifford will give an illustrated talk on the history of the Willoughby family and Wollaton Hall
Roger is one of Nottingham Industrial Museum’s Volunteer Guides and Front of House Stewards, and his talk will outline the history of the Willoughby family, the source of their wealth, the architect commissioned to design Wollaton Hall, its stunning Elizabethan country house style architecture, and the building of the Stable Block and Riding School where Nottingham Industrial Museum is now located.
The duration of the fundraising talk is approximately 1hr and the whole museum will be available to explore before and after the talk. Tickets are £7 per person (refreshments are included) and can be purchased via EventBrite https://willoughbywollaton.eventbrite.co.uk
