Black History

Local Studies Library, 1st Floor Central Library, Angel Row, Nottingham NG1 6HP on Tuesday 1st November 2016 between 10:00 and 12:00.

Catherine Ross, the Founder and Director of SKN Heritage Museum, will speak about the Caribbean contribution to life in Nottingham and the UK. SKN’s exhibitions and events celebrate the lives and experiences of ordinary people, in a way that all people can recognise and embrace. Caribbeans have helped shape our shared British culture, heritage and achievements and SKN’s aim is to bring those stories to life for everyone.
