Revolution

On Tuesday 14th november 2017 at Nottingham Central Library at 10:30am Richard Gaunt, Nottingham University, will explore events in Nottingham in 1817 ;  a story of poverty and discontent,  rebels , plots and spies. How close did Nottingham get to a revolution two hundred years ago?

An EXHIBITION of paintings of the events by local artists will be held in the Local Studies Library 

A free GUIDED WALK , led by Roger Tanner, will visit sites in the city centre associated with the events of the Pentrich Revolution. Leaving Angel Row Library front doors at  1.30pm on Tuesday 14th November.
